BRIEF HISTORICAL BACKGROUND OF THE INSTITUTE OF CIVIL SERVICE

The Institute of Civil Service was established under the instruction of the President of the Republic of Belarus. Initially, the Institute of Public Administration was created  September 18, 2000, by order of the Rector of the Academy of Public Administration, on the basis of the Faculty of Management – structural subdivision of the Academy of Public Administration without the right of a legal entity.

In accordance with the Decree of the President of the Republic of Belarus dated June 2, 2009 No. 275 "On some measures to improve the training, retraining and advanced training of personnel in the field of management", the Institute of Public Administration was transformed into the Institute of Civil Service.

GENERAL INFORMATION ABOUT THE INSTITUTE OF CIVIL SERVICE

Training on the first stage of higher education (cycle I of higher education) in the speciality 1-26 05 01 "State construction" is carried out within the framework of the state order (the term of study is 3 years, in the correspondence form of education). internships and advanced training for management personnel, persons included in the reserves of management personnel, and other persons.

The Institute includes the following departments: public administration; social policy and ideology; state economic policy; management of economic systems; personnel policy and psychology of management.

Training at the level of the second higher education in the specialty 6-05-0414-01 "State Construction" is carried out within the framework of a state order (duration of study - 3 years, in the correspondence form of education, qualification "manager in the field of public administration").

Retraining is carried out in the following specialties:

9-09-0414-01 State and local government (duration of study is 22 months in correspondence education, qualification “specialist in public administration”);

9-09-0414-02 Public Administration of the National Economy (22 months of study in the correspondence form of education, qualification "specialist in the field of public administration");

9-09-0414-03 Public Administration and Ideology (16 months of study in the correspondence form of education, qualification "specialist in the field of public administration and ideology");

9-09-0414-04 Public administration in the social sphere (duration of study: 22 months, correspondence course, qualification: “specialist in public administration”);

9-09-0414-05 Information and analytical work in the public administration system (duration of study: 22 months, correspondence course, qualification: “specialist in public administration and analytics”);

9-09-0414-09 State Personnel Policy (16 months of study in the correspondence form of education, qualification "HR Manager");

9-09-0311-05 Economics and Management at an Industrial Enterprise (22 months of study in the correspondence form of education, qualification "Manager. Economist");

09-0412-02 Business Administration (22 months of study in correspondence education, qualification "Manager. Economist");

9-09-0414-07 Human Resources Management (22 months of study in correspondence education, qualification "Human Resources Specialist")
