Open Day at the Presidential Academy Brings Together Over 500 Applicants | en
Today, the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Belarus held an Open Day, welcoming over five hundred prospective students. The event provided applicants with a comprehensive look at educational programs, internal entrance examination procedures, professional and psychological interviews, and the organization of extracurricular activities.
In his welcoming address, the Rector of the Presidential Academy, Denis Duk, emphasized the vibrant and dynamic nature of student life at the institution:
— "At the Academy of Public Administration, every effort is made to ensure that studies are paired with an active social life. We also offer a unique trajectory for training specialists who go on to become leaders at various levels. Our graduates are highly sought after by employers, and there is a genuine 'competition' for each of them," the Rector stated.
Denis Duk further highlighted that a graduate's right to choose their first place of employment depends largely on their academic success, achievements, and involvement in various social spheres. "If you have the motivation and the desire, you will succeed," he added.
Applicants, parents, and guests had the unique opportunity to engage directly with the leadership of the Presidential Academy and the Institute of Management Personnel, as well as with heads of departments and potential employers.
Attendees received detailed information regarding the admission process for first-time, second, and subsequent higher education degrees. Representatives of the Academy shared insights into the competitive advantages of specific majors, enrollment figures, and passing scores, as well as the "School of Management" — a specialized additional education program for children and youth.
Leaders of public associations and student self-government bodies presented their activities. Guests were also able to explore an exhibition featuring the latest book releases and publications relevant to preparing for admission to second and subsequent higher education programs.
Ivan Gorbachevsky, a student from Secondary School No. 2 in Gorki and a current participant in the "School of Management" program, shared his impressions of the Open Day:
— "In my opinion, the Academy of Public Administration is an excellent place of study for people with an active civic position. The extensive social and creative life of the institution helps to foster responsibility, strategic thinking, and the ability to take initiative and see complex tasks through to completion. The specialists trained here understand the philosophy of state-building, possess modern management technologies, and are ready to tackle tasks of national significance," the applicant noted.
