From March 9 to 13, the Academy of Public Administration, in cooperation with the Federation of Trade Unions of Belarus (FTUB), implemented a charitable educational project designed for women executives, specialists in the leadership reserve, and active members of trade union organizations. This marks the debut program of a project dedicated to the "Year of the Belarusian Woman."
The week flew by for 30 outstanding participants, culminating in the awarding of professional development certificates. The attendees shared their impressions, expressing profound gratitude for the engaging curriculum that provided a wealth of new experiences.
Participants explored technologies for individual image-building, studied business etiquette, and examined emotions as a strategic resource in female leadership styles. Overall, the program encompassed five competency blocks: "Woman as a Guardian of Cultural and Spiritual Values," "Woman as a Leader," "Woman as the Keeper of the Hearth," "Women's Health – The Nation's Health," and "The Image of a Belarusian Businesswoman."
— "I am delighted to have been part of the inaugural program for women organized by the Academy of Public Administration and the Federation of Trade Unions of Belarus. The debut was a resounding success. The knowledge gained here will be extremely practical, and the workbook provided has become a treasure trove of useful information," shared Svetlana Konstantinova, Chair of the Primary Trade Union Organization at JSC "Mogilevkhimvolokno."
Anna Vasenkova, Deputy Chair of the Primary Trade Union Organization at JSC "Integral" (the management company of the "Integral" holding), joined the project with high expectations. Before the program began, she told journalists that the announcement impressed her due to the caliber of experts and the multifaceted topics covered—ranging from family policy and healthcare to labor support and practical modern management skills. Five days later, we asked: were those expectations met?
— "100 percent. Each speaker shared their own practical experience, which is priceless! During the lectures, we received a multitude of life hacks and insights. Every one of us has been truly inspired, and we feel ready to move mountains," said Anna Vasenkova.
Oksana Konstantinovich, Chair of the Belarusian Trade Union of Workers of Trade, Consumer Cooperation, and Entrepreneurship, noted that all lecturers drew upon their personal experience.
Through real-life examples and situations, the program demonstrated that a woman can achieve anything—succeeding as a leader while remaining a loving wife and mother.
