VIII International Forum of Young Managers Brings Together Nearly Five Hundred Participants | en
The Rector of the Academy of Public Administration, Denis Duk, delivered the opening address at the forum. He emphasized that the event, now in its eighth edition, remains highly sought after by young people. According to the Rector, the forum opens new horizons for acquiring essential competencies and professional experience.
Denis Duk encouraged participants to cultivate key qualities for future managers: diligence, hard work, and the ability to overcome obstacles.
The Rector highlighted that Belarus focuses on training a managerial elite with significant emphasis on ideological preparation:
— "In this regard, we rely on Directive No. 12 of the President of the Republic of Belarus — a fundamental document that defines the entire structure of ideological work in our country. It is no secret that today, ideology is an effective tool and instrument for conducting state policy in various nations. Therefore, the exchange and implementation of this experience will allow us to collectively withstand the challenges and threats currently facing the global community."
During the forum, a cooperation agreement was signed between the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Belarus and Gomel State Medical University.
In the course of the plenary session, representatives from the real sector of the economy, the deputy corps, and heads of state institutions presented reports on supporting talented young researchers, the role of leadership in professional development, and the activities of youth in civil service.
The forum also included sessions of the XXX International Scientific and Practical Conference for Undergraduate and Graduate Students titled "Theoretical, Methodological, and Applied Aspects of Public Administration." Participants discussed digital tools within the public administration system, the legal foundations of management activities, and other relevant issues.
The forum concluded with a practical business workshop titled "Time Management: From Systemic Knowledge to Applied Skills" and a management simulation game focused on the "Organizational and Managerial Process."
