Enhancing Personnel Management: The 11th International Scientific and Practical Conference Held at the Presidential Academy | en
On March 5, the 11th International Scientific and Practical Internet Conference, titled "Theory and Practice of Personnel Policy and Psychological Support for Executive Personnel," took place at the Academy of Public Administration.
Opening the conference, the Rector of the Presidential Academy, Denis Duk, delivered a welcoming speech emphasizing that the topic is highly relevant not only for the Republic of Belarus but for any nation aiming to preserve national sovereignty and develop human potential.
— "Belarus has established a state-level system for selecting, training, and motivating future leaders for civil service. The Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Belarus is the flagship institution in this field, possessing extensive experience in implementing various aspects of state personnel policy," Denis Duk stated.
During the plenary session, experts fr om Belarus, the Russian Federation, the Komi Republic, Uzbekistan, and Armenia discussed methods for optimizing the assessment of civil servants and improving mechanisms of state personnel policy. They also analyzed the requirements for the professional and personal qualities of leaders. Significant attention was paid to the ethics and etiquette of public speaking, as well as effective interaction with the media.
The conference continued with thematic sections, wh ere particular focus was placed on current issues in state personnel policy implementation, the impact of artificial intelligence on human resource management, and the future prospects of management psychology.
The practical value of the conference was further highlighted by a series of masterclasses. Participants were able to acquire not only theoretical knowledge but also practical tools for emergency self-help in stressful situations, as well as explore advanced digital technologies applied in personnel management.
