The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Cuba to the Republic of Belarus, Santiago Pérez Benítez, delivered an open lecture providing a profound analysis of the geopolitical situation and Cuba's role in the modern world.

The main part of the speech was dedicated to the current challenges Cuba faces on its path toward socio-economic development. Analyzing the situation in the Latin American region, Santiago Pérez Benítez noted that the continent is currently undergoing an era of significant transformations.
A significant portion of the discussion touched upon relations with the United States of America. The Ambassador provided a stern assessment of the long-standing economic, commercial, and financial blockade that Washington continues to maintain against Cuba.
