Civil Servants of the Republic of Zimbabwe are Master's Students at the Presidential Academy | en
Since the beginning of the 2025/2026 academic year, active civil servants of the Republic of Zimbabwe have been studying the Master's program (specialty "Public Administration, specialization "Economic Diplomacy") in English. On the eve they came to study and met with Denis Duk, the Rector of the Presidential Academy.
The meeting was also attended by the First Vice-Rector Olga Soldatova, the Leading Specialist of the Department of Communications and International Relations Tatyana Ovsyankina, and the Assistant to the Rector Olga Khanevskaya.
On behalf of the guests the meeting was attended by the Deputy Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Zimbabwe to the Republic of Belarus Kanisio Tanyanyiwa, as well as representatives of the Office of the Chief Secretary of the President and the Administration of the President of the Republic of Zimbabwe Gutsa Freeman and Muzavazi Fanuel.
The Rector of the Presidential Academy welcomed everyone and emphasized that this is an continuation of cooperation between the two countries. In 2024, a delegation fr om the Zimbabwe Republic's government agencies, led by the Chief Secretary of the President and Cabinet of the Republic of Zimbabwe, M.Rushwaya, visited the Academy of Public Administration. During the meeting, a certificate was presented for the Master's program in Economic Diplomacy for two Zimbabwean government officials at the Academy. Denis Duk expressed his willingness to provide any assistance to the students:
- We very much hope that after the training, the impressions of Belarus will be the most positive. We want our country to be perceived not only as a partner state, but also as a place wh ere it is good to live and study. With the help of this training program at the Academy of Public Administration, we should help to strengthen the friendly relations between our countries, as strong as the friendship between the President of the Republic of Belarus and the President of the Republic of Zimbabwe.
Kanisio Tanyanyiwa, Deputy Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Zimbabwe to the Republic of Belarus, expressed his gratitude for the admission of civil servants and said that the best of the best had been selected.
During the year, representatives of the Office of the Chief Secretary to the President and the Administration of the President of the Republic of Zimbabwe, Director Gutsa Freeman and Deputy Director Muzavazi Fanuel, will study the Master's program in Economic Diplomacy in English at the Academy of Public Administration. The program will focus on the global economy, the foreign economic policy of the Republic of Belarus and other countries, the activities of international organizations, the promotion of goods and services in foreign markets, international negotiations, diplomatic protocol and communication in international business.
