A Historic Milestone: Presidential Academy Celebrates its 35th Anniversary | en

A festive atmosphere filled the Small Hall of the Palace of the Republic, with smiles of joy on the faces of all attendees.

Vladimir Pertsov, First Deputy Head of the Administration of the President of the Republic of Belarus, congratulated the collective on the jubilee. He noted that the majority of executive personnel within the system of public administration are graduates and trainees of the Presidential Academy. Vladimir Pertsov emphasized that for the Presidential Administration, attending or undergoing retraining at the Academy of Public Administration is a particular hallmark of quality for any manager.
He wished the faculty and teaching staff grateful listeners and students whom they can rightfully be proud of. Vladimir Pertsov then read out a congratulatory address from the Head of State and presented it to the Rector of the Presidential Academy.

The Rector of the Presidential Academy, Denis Duk, addressed the attendees with a welcoming speech. He highlighted that the Academy of Public Administration was established in 1991 amidst the transition to a market economy, and undoubtedly, the societal transformations of that era left their mark on the institution's activities from the very beginning.
— "However, the true era of the Academy of Public Administration, as we know and value it today, began in 1995 when the Academy received its status 'under the President of the Republic of Belarus.' We have approached this anniversary with a significant wealth of experience, which, being a fusion of experience and youth, allows us to confidently look towards the future," the Rector remarked.

Denis Duk expressed his wishes for the collective that all directives set by the Head of State for the Academy of Public Administration today will be successfully implemented. The Rector conveyed his confidence that the team will continue to train highly qualified specialists for the benefit of their native Belarus, thus ensuring the continued confident development and prosperity of their beloved country.

Throughout the celebratory event, over 50 Academy employees were honored with certificates of merit and letters of gratitude from representatives of 17 state administration bodies. Notably, all individuals who took the stage in the Small Hall of the Palace of the Republic are graduates of the Academy of Public Administration from various years. The celebration concluded with all attendees joining in unison to perform the Anthem of the Academy of Public Administration.
