On April 9, 2025, at the Academy of Public Administration, a visiting professor, president of the Russian Society of Sociologists, chief researcher of the Institute of Sociology - a separate division of the Federal Research Sociological Center of the Russian Academy of Sciences, D.Sc Valery Mansurov gave an open lecture.
The topic of the lecture was “Professional Culture and Professional Dynasty: Paths of Interaction”.
The audience took part in a lively discussion devoted to the issues of professional culture as a social phenomenon. The issues of institutionalization of professional culture, features of professional culture related to the specifics of work activities were discussed in various professional environments.
Valery Andreevich repeatedly emphasized the importance of sociology for modern society. He noted: "Sociology, despite its relative youth among other social sciences, plays a key role in understanding social processes, identifying patterns of social development, analyzing problems and finding ways to solve them."
