
Academy of Public Administration under the aegis of the President of the Republic of Belarus is the state’s leading research centre in the sphere of public administration. The Academy carries out fundamental and applied research on pending matters of the country’s social and economic development, tackles issues of information-oriented community, ideology building, effective personnel policies, philosophical and sociological aspects of public administration, legislative background for the public administration system reform and considers other important aspects of modern society’s development.
Profound resources of “brain capital” are currently at the Academy’s disposal. 168 Sc. Drs and PhDs work full-time at the institution. Annually dozens of research articles, monographs and study manuals are written and published by Academy’s scientists.
The institution research and teaching staff also devote large attention to mentoring research work of students and young scientists. Student Research Society and Young Scientists’ Council have been created and successfully function at the Academy.

Collected articles “Academy’s Research Volumes” and a scientific practical journal “Problemy Upravlenija” (“Issues of Public Administration”) are published at the institution’s premises. Both editions are in the national shortlist of publications on major research outcomes.
