Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of India in the Republic of Belarus Mr. Ramesh Chander spoke with a lecture “ICT Development in India” on October, 19th at the Academy.

His Excellency highlighted main stages of ICT development in India in his lecture. Mr. Chander also responded to questions from students who showed high interest in cooperation activities between Belarus and India and India’s success factors in ICT sector.

The Academy regularly hosts meetings with foreign representatives and Mr. Ramesh Chander paid a likewise visit to the institution last year.

On March, 29-30th the Academy with the support of the Administration of the President of the Republic of Belarus held first meeting of heads of academies and institutions from the EAEC countries specialising in public administration and civil service.

International panel discussion “Managerial Education as a Solution to Modern-day Challenges” took place and the Statute of Eurasian Association of educational institutions specialising in public administration and civil service was signed in the framework of the meeting. The guests also visited Minsk automobile and tractor plants, agricultural complex “Zhdanovichi”, unitary enterprise “Belkommunmash” and the National Library.

On November, 12th the Academy was visited by Director of Economic Department of Israel’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs Mr. Gil Haskel and the following representatives from the Embassy of Israel in the Republic of Belarus – Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Mr. Eduard Shapira and Ambassador’s Assistant on public relations Ms. Olga Dmitrovich. The delegation met with the Academy’s Rector Mr. Anatoly Morozevich. In the framework of the visit Mr. Haskel spoke with a lecture before students of Institute of Managerial Personnel. The lecture covered the topic “Israel’s Economy” and was delivered in English.
