On December 6 Academy hosted a meeting of students and Senior Deputy Chief of the President's Office Alexander Radkov.
During the meeting Alexander Radkov talked to the audience about the development of the state, economics, science and industry. Students and the presidential spokesman together discussed educational processes at Belarusian universities. Mr Radkov encouraged the students to embrace self-improvement initiatives and go for practical skills in their future professions. He said: "The first half of university studies should be carried out on-campus while during the second half classrooms should shift to real-life institutions".
Academy's students had a lot of questions to ask the high-rank executive. They were eager to hear more about the Customs Union, social protection of the population and application of Internet technologies. All the inquiries addressed to Mr Radkov were met with genuine attention and in-depth replies. To attach substantial grounds to his answers Mr Radkov often shared personal stories from his work practices. With vast executive experience under his belt Mr Radkov believes that there are two priorities in self-development each executive should strive for – building strong decision-making skills and staying knowledge-focused.
