The Academy celebrated its 21th anniversary on January 30. On this occasion Academy’s staff gathered for the festive celebration. During the event certificates of excellence were awarded to best employees.
The Academy’s Rector opened the concert with a greeting word: “Looking back on all those years we can make a contented observation of our sustainable development. We have created a unique system of managerial training. Hundreds of our graduates are now giving all their effort to build a strong, welfare and independent state. Our country’s history is being shaped by our graduates. We are proud of them: by making impressive careers they light optimism in our hearts and inspire others to follow in their footsteps. We continuously improve our practices, upgrade our technical facilities, develop our knowledge and HR potential, activate the structure. We have made certain progress and that’s what really counts. The Academy has gained sufficient robustness, you can say that it has now its own brand and it’s getting more and more attractive. President Aleksandr Lukashenko challenged the Academy with an important task on cultivating national administrative and political elite competent to work in modern social and economic environment. I’d like to recall that Academy’s performance efficiency will be attested by evaluating the progress we’ve made to achieve President’s ultimate objectives. We will have to work hard so that the presidential academy would become a top-league university. And there is no time to lose. We all realize the swift pace of time. That’s why we should not only perform our work on time but also work ahead of time. I strongly believe that it is only when we act all together and link our personal ambitions to the Academy’s success and Belarus’ welfare that we would eventually find effective solutions to the tasks set before us”.
Rector also thanked the Academy’s staff for cooperation and presented certificates of excellence to best employees for their high professionalism, commendable attitude to their duties and personal contribution to the Academy’s development.
During the concert diplomas “Student of the Year – Promising Researcher”, “Young Scientist of the Year” and “Teacher of the Year” were also awarded to the winners.
A music concert by Belarusian pop-stars came as a special birthday gift to the Academy’s personnel.
