Academy of Public Administration under the aegis of the President of the Republic of Belarus and the National Academy of Public Administration, Office of the President of Ukraine, have recently determined new cooperation directions. A new cooperation agreement was signed with the Ukrainian partner in Kiev according to the information of the Academy’s Centre for International Cooperation and Educational Programmes.
The document’s main objective is cooperation development in the sphere of education, research and innovations, analysis of world experience in training and retraining of civil servants and local government officials.
Further cooperation envisages such joint activities as student and staff exchange, mutual visits of experts in public administration; promotion of educational technologies’ development and their implementation into educational process; experience exchange and collaboration in analysis of world standards for civil servants’ job performance; exchange of scientific publications and learning aids.
In compliance with the agreement the parties will annually develop a tentative plan of joint activities and projects for the next year.
On May 27-28th Academy’s Rector Mr. Anatoly Morozevich took part in festive events on the occasion of the 15th anniversary of the National Academy of Public Administration, Office of the President of Ukraine.
Research practical conference “Public administration as a branch of science: history, theory, implementation” became the key event of the celebrations. About 300 people including guests from Belarus, Poland, Russia, France and Estonia took part in the conference. Rector Anatoly Morozevich gave a lecture on promotion of executives’ self-education.
In the framework of the visit negotiations were held with the governing body of the Ukrainian Academy which has been tied with the Belarusian Academy by long-standing partnership relations. To invigorate and renew collaboration activities a new agreement of cooperation has been signed.
