The Academy carries out educational and research activities, ideological and innovation initiatives, informational reviewing and accomplishes other tasks on procuring state and society with efficient executive personnel.
The Academy holds a license for conducting educational work. The institution trains specialists on the following stages of education: undergraduate full-time and extramural studies, Master and PhD programmes, in-service training and professional advancement courses. All courses and study programmes have been accredited by the special national committee (See full list of the programmes accredited). The Academy was also officially acknowledged to correspond with its high academic status.

On January 24, 2011 Academy of Public Administration under the aegis of the President of the Republic of Belarus officially acquired Quality Certificate ISO 9001-2009 certifying the institution's compliance with international educational standards.
